We know how crucial the first five years of a child’s life are to set them on a path for healthy outcomes, and have faced more challenges than ever recently in helping families meet basic needs and getting kids and their caregivers critical services – like developmental screenings, and social emotional support.

Docs for Tots has a model that addresses these challenges, bridging the gaps between policy, practice, and parents.

Through our multi-pronged approach, on the one hand, we help parents access excellent services for their kids; on the other, we partner with clinics, hospitals, and childcare agencies so they adopt and implement best practices. And on the third hand (we did say multi-pronged!) we share results with policymakers so that they adapt and enact policies that can truly meet the needs of kids and parents.

Our approach is unusual and complex. But it works. That’s why we would love your pioneering support to help make make best practice everyday practice.

Docs for Tots is a non-profit 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization under the regulations of the Internal Revenue Service. All contributions to Docs for Tots are tax deductible to the extent provided by law. Donations go towards one critical goal: keeping tots healthy. More specifically, your contributions help:

  • Ensure that all children receive developmental screenings
  • Address young children’s social-emotional health needs
  • Make sure families receive the supports they need to raise their young children

Thanks to your generous support, we are able to advance our work so all families have the opportunity to fully support the healthy development of their young children – through initiatives like Help Me Grow Long Island.

Thank you for supporting us with a contribution today!
