BRITE Enhanced
Building Relationships in Infant Toddler Early Education
Docs for Tots partners with family and group family child care providers in Nassau County and Queens to support their work and enhance the social-emotional well-being of the infants and young children in their care. It also addresses the ongoing challenges that providers have with caring for children with suspected developmental delays or behavioral concerns.
BRITE Enhanced offers a free, 10-week hybrid support model that includes weekly check-ins (both in person and virtual) with a Mental Health Consultant. The consultant collaborates with providers to develop goals that strengthen the social-emotional environment, gives them easy-to-use strategies to use in everyday routines, and provides them with ongoing support to manage the demands of caring for children. Services are available in English and Spanish. See the flyers below.
