Text Editor Widget

The CMSMasters Text Editor widget is an enhanced version of the default Elementor Text Editor, designed to provide more consistent styling, better typography control, and improved frontend accuracy.

While the interface remains familiar, several important improvements have been made. The widget removes Elementor’s default reset margins for headings, paragraphs, preformatted text, blockquotes, and lists, ensuring that content spacing behaves predictably and matches the theme design. It is fully connected to the theme’s global typography and color scheme, so all text elements automatically follow your global settings without additional adjustments.

List styling has also been improved, including corrected left spacing for ordered and unordered lists. The “Space Between” control now applies consistently to all text elements except headings, instead of affecting only paragraphs as in the default widget.

Link behavior has been refined as well. When selecting a custom link color in the editor, the normal state uses your chosen color, while the hover state correctly follows the theme’s default or custom hover color settings, ensuring visual consistency across the website.

Additionally, the widget properly displays the Horizontal Line element added from the toolbar, which may not appear correctly in the default Elementor editor.

Overall, this widget ensures cleaner output, better alignment with theme styles, and more accurate frontend rendering compared to the standard Elementor Text Editor.
