Job Beskrivelse
In a nutshell
We’re expanding ADP’s footprint in the Nordics and are looking for a Field Sales Manager to win new enterprise customers (2,000+ employees at HQ), with a primary focus on Denmark and Finland. This is a true new business role where you’ll sell Payroll and HR solutions into complex multinational organisations and run strategic, consultative sales cycles from first conversation to signed agreement.
What makes this role different: the Nordics sits within ADP’s Emerging Markets business. That means you get the pace and ownership of a scale-up environment—building market presence, opening doors, and finding creative ways to win—while having the backing, credibility, and resources of a global industry leader.
The role
You will own new-logo enterprise sales for ADP’s Payroll, Time & Attendance and HR solutions, engaging senior stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT, and the broader executive team. Sales cycles are typically longer and more complex, with multi-country scope, formal procurement, and larger stakeholder groups. Because ADP has the ambition to grow even more in the Nordics, you’ll need to be proactive, sharp in prospecting, and comfortable challenging the status quo to create opportunities and convert them into wins.
Key duties / responsibilities
- Build and execute a territory plan aligned with Nordics strategy and targets (Denmark/Finland focus)
- Identify, target and engage enterprise prospects using a structured outreach and account-based approach
- Create pipeline through prospecting, networking, partner routes, and events
- Lead the full sales cycle: discovery → business case → stakeholder alignment → solution design → negotiation → close
- Run high-quality discovery to uncover business drivers and risks (compliance, visibility, process efficiency, integrations, security/privacy)
- Collaborate with pre-sales and internal specialists to shape a solution that matches the prospect’s requirements and operating model
- Present and position ADP’s value with a clear ROI narrative tailored to HR/Finance/IT stakeholders
- Maintain CRM hygiene: accurate forecasting, next steps, stakeholder maps, and deal governance in line with ADP sales process
- Bring an entrepreneurial mindset to the market: test new angles, open doors, and find smart ways to win new enterprise logos in a growing region
Experience & capabilities
- B2B new business sales experience (typically 10+ years) in enterprise SaaS / payroll / HR tech / ERP / business services—or similar consultative solutions
- Proven ability to sell complex solutions with multiple stakeholders, longer sales cycles, and formal procurement processes
- Strong skills in prospecting, account planning, and multi-threading into executive stakeholder groups
- Confident in executive conversations with CHRO/HRD, CFO/Finance leaders, CIO/IT leadership, and Procurement
- Comfortable with structured sales methodologies (MEDDICC, Challenger, etc.)
- Fluent in English and Danish or Finnish (written and spoken). The other Nordic language is a plus
- Self-starter energy: you like ownership, pace, and building something, not just inheriting a book of business
What we offer
- A rare mix of scale-up ownership in the Nordics, backed by a global leader in payroll and HR
- Competitive salary and benefits, including performance-based incentive
- Coaching, enablement, and mentoring to support your development and progression at ADP
- The opportunity to qualify for our annual President’s Club and other recognition programs
- A collaborative culture with access to specialists, marketing support, and proven sales frameworks
Practical details
- Location: Remote – Preferred: Denmark (ideally Copenhagen) - Also: Finland
- Field-based role with customer meetings and travel across the region and beyond.
- Ability to travel is mandatory
