During the week, Roy and I had a bit too much fun with light effects with my camera...I used my laser pointer for the first of many pictures. It wasn't very bright enough, but it made an effect anyways. (I'll post that my next post).
However, Roy found a LCD keychain light, and it make a whole difference...I had a bit fun this morning.

x-posted on my own journal

Last night I had too much fun in photoshop class. :-)
I worked on a photo of me and Sarah (my niece). My lips were very pale, and our teeth were kinda yellowy (eww!). So I made it look much better. Cleared up some blemishes on our faces, and darkened the background as they were distracting.
It looked so good on the monitor, but it printed out weird...it was much harsher and a bit darker than it looked. ::sigh:: I guess I'll have to wait until next week to figure out how to match the printing. :-D
This week we learned how to do EXTREME manipulations on our faces. Had a lot of fun doing "pop art comic style" look with my face. That was a lot of work! :-D After I'm done, I'll post a pic as usual. :-D
Sorry no picture posts for now.....

I did all of this with my own coloring technique. I'm proud of it! :-) I applied it to all the others. I also made a tutorial over at

All of this is a WIP (work in progress). I am just itchy to show them off! I will work on adding some brush layers and text.
Icons are free for taking, please credit when used, and they can be used as bases as long as I'm credited for it!
My only issue right now is coming up with querky quotes and stuff...not exactly my territory. :-)

Created some icons...

I've been searching around for screencaps for various shows. Found a couple.
I love Ace Ventura! I'm not crazy about the 2nd movie, but the 1st was great.

I tried to use a coloring tutorial, but didn't turn out the way I wanted. This is purely my creation by playing around with layers. Kat was right...you gotta play around! :-)
The only little problems I'm having is choosing a text and text coloring.
Like it?
Hate it?
Tell me! That's how I learn!

Made another icon today. I like this one! I used a gradient from liars_dance and some else I forget...eeps!
Hope you like it and brings back memories. BTTF is one of my favorite series, I'll never get sick of watching it. :-)
EDIT: The "someone" was so_out_of_ideas He has a LOT of brushes/base layers! I have a collection with 97!
Simple icon. Nothing overly done...

In honor for Roni, I know she'll get a kick outta this. :-D
I took a photograph of my flower that's on my deck. Beautiful ain't it? I only tweaked the contrast to give a brighter look. I entered this in a digital photography contest. I hope it does well!
