Hi, I am Derk-Jan, I work as an Agile Coach, Agile Transformation Consultant, RTE coach or Value Delivery Advisor. I help teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and RTE to prioritise their work and make an impact with their value delivery.
I help organisations by doing the work, but I also like to share my thoughts and experiences with my peers, by means of conferences and publications. With my presentations I aim to inspire people and help teams and organisation to become more effective. I am enthusiastic keynote speaker at national and international conferences. I regularly publish articles and Columns for leading magazines and platforms and I am experienced trainer and workshop/ serious game facilitator. The training sessions vary from the standard introduction into Agile to custom made workshops that tune in on specific needs of the client.
Derk-Jan is the author of successful books including TestGoal, Grip on IT and the Dutch Testers association’s jubilee book on future trends in testing. In 2016 he published “Agile in the Real World”, a book on SCRUM, followed by the waves of Agile in 2021. Derk-Jan won several awards including the prestigious European Testing Excellence Award in 2014

Hi
I am Ma’ayan from PractiTest. Our Testing related blog QA Intelligence together with Tea Time with Testers Magazine, has launched its annual “State of Testing” Survey of 2016, which is the largest survey worldwide of Testers and QA Managers alike.
We aim to identify the existing characteristics, practices and challenges facing the testing community in hopes to shed light and provoke a fruitful discussion towards improvement.
We’ve got dozens of bloggers and industry leaders helping us spread the word to the worldwide QA community about the survey, and we’d be delighted to have you join the success.
How can you help?
Write a post on your blog or website pointing to the survey page: http://qablog.practitest.com/state-of-testing/
Once you have created your post just reply to: maayan@practitest.com with a link to it and I’ll add you to the list of collaborators on the site as well as the final results report.
In addition to this, I will also send you the results of the survey a couple of days before making them public giving you access to incredible data available only to collaborators.
Of course I encourage you to share the survey on your professional social accounts and with colleagues as you see fit. (#StateofTesting on Twitter)
Hope to hear back from you on this as soon as possible.
Thank you.
Ma’ayan
