After months of back-and-forthing over where to do this, I am officially closing Diva_Off; it's not fair to you all to be so inconsistent but with all my hospital visits and tests and new job syndrome, I just don't have the energy to keep it up with the same enthusiasm and energy that I would want to. 

I want to thank everyone here for their support and fabulous writing and I hope when my life sorts itself out I can start it all again- bigger and better than this time round. 

Love you all; keep writing because you're so so good at it.

 So as I explained to the few people that asked: I have had challenges posted. Those challenges have just been posted as 'private' and then my computer wouldn't work so I only found out today. SUCKS TO BE ME.

So we're taking a break from normal events, and JANUARY HAS BECOME CHALLENGE MONTH

So I was back in hospital and then in bed for most of the time in between and seriously that hospital has become my second home lately, but I'm back!!

I'm afraid this week we've lost starsofmorning who has produced some really gorgeous stuff for the competition thus far. Thank you for participating, sad to see you go, but I really hope you can join in the bonus rounds-- which are for everyone, still in or not.

I have much love for this:
1) UNNNNNNNF. Just yum yum yum.
2) I like the push-pull of it all; the control given and then taken back, the twisting-moving-ness of their motions. The idea that Santana says one thing one moment and etches out a heart the next. The idea that she crawls in, and then crawls back out. The pattern you have of Brittany being innocent and then experienced, of Santana being the active member and then the passive. How she goes from one agenda to the next, lovely lovely!
3) It's kind of gorgeous in it's simplicity. More importantly. Sometimes I find with the smutty-smut-times that it can be overwrought with description, too much, it like strangles the feeling out of it. I hate when you get this mental image of the writer sat and contemplating over every adjective and euphemism. I mean, don't get me wrong, I hate that anyway, but with more explicit stuff I find it uncomfortable. Almost mechanical. So how you just kept the action and the actual 'sex' to a minimum of well-placed verbs and grammar made it even hotter. Oh, and
4) UNNNNNNNNNNNF.

MY REVIEW:  1) I think what I loved most about was the casualness of it all. No death, no angst, no real hard-hitting drama (don't get me wrong, I love this just as much as the next person) just the cute light-hearted loveliness of a crush. Very cool. 2) How in character? There's a cattiness to Kurt without a meanness; he's not an evil person, just a bitch, haha. Even Sam was in character, considering all of his two episodes, and one of them being ever-so-brief, to have such a tangible grasp on the character that people really responded to? Pretty genius. Mercedes and Kurt felt cute and to the side, always watching, pondering, judging. JUST BRILLIANT. Exactly the way slash, couples, hell just-- fic should be written.

So it's been a while since my last message to you guys. I'll admit, I've been relying on the bones of this in terms of input.

Long story made short: I've been really ill (this, the combination of different meds to fight off different things) and it just made it difficult to focus. Then I had problems with work, gr, boss, grrr and it was all too much and this just kept getting pushed to the bottom of an increasing pile.
