Intel Details the Binary Optimization Tool; Is It Another Attempt to Fix the 'APO Mess', Or a Genuine x86 Breakthrough?

The Arrow Lake Refresh CPUs have taken the spotlight in the budget PC segment, and one of the ways Intel plans to boost performance is the 'Binary Optimization' tool, which we have dissected in this coverage. The launch of Intel's Arrow Lake Refresh lineup was seen with a lot of optimism, given that the initial SKUs, mainly the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus and the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, feature an impressive price tag, and supposedly performance as well, judging by the official benchmarks shared. At the same time, during Intel's technical showcase last week, there was a heavy... Read full story at wccftech.com

Geekbench6 site is flagging ALL 250K 270K and 290K benchmarks invalid with the following:

"This benchmark result may be invalid due to binary modification tools that can run on this system."
I wonder what skin they have in the game or who's paying them.

My guess is by the time this matures AMD will have a better version.

they both steal ideas from each other with AMD usually doing things better.

Not biased at all, are you? /s Your job it reporting, not writing hit pieces.

What was the bias here?

" Is It Another Attempt to Fix the ‘APO Mess’" Starting off with THAT. Journalism 101 mistake. Beginning with an assumption and then proceeding to "prove" it.

Intel Rules ????

Wouldent go near anything POS overhyped AMtrash myself!

Team Green and Blue, is the way I roll ????????

Intel is the best in this field, with the most experience and the most stable performance.

Garbage.

and more intel avertising

Fake news. Where real benchmarks

This is intel's 3rd try for APO to make it seem like they are relevant and will be abandoned just like the rest.

All this nonsense just because they cache-starve the living shit out of their CPUs...

Looks like NVL might be Intel's comeback.

I won't go into much detail about the technicals of how the BOT actually works, since this post is intended to let gamers know whether the utility works for them, based on what Intel tells us.

No, no. Please do.
