On this mission, Deep Time participants will use a Freshwater Habitats Trust methodology that has traditionally been used for ground based survey to remotely assess Priority Ponds across the New Forest using LiDAR, aerial imagery, and a purpose-built assessment workflow. This pilot could transform how pond inventories are built and updated at national scale.

The newest Deep Time mission has launched today! Mission Leaders have joined us to test out a new validation workflow on the 2024 CSLP dataset for the North Pennines National Landscape.

After a busy weekend, we’ve reached 100% completion on the Northumberland Coast!

We’ve added 93 squares to our mission to connect the Northumberland Coast coverage to the map we created on the Wallington Estate mission.

The Futurenauts have completed over half of the squares on the Northumberland coast with one week remaining in the mission – incredible work!

Or final mission map has opened!

Our Futurenauts worked hard over the holiday season and have pushed the fourth mission to completion.

In less than two weeks the Futurenauts have mapped half of our mission landscape!

There are 483 new squares waiting to be mapped by our Futurenauts!
