  1. Go to our Pricing page and click on the Sign Up button.
  2. Enter your contact information and provide payment details.
  3. You will be redirected to the Registration page. Please use the email address provided in the previous step. Scroll to the bottom and click on the Sign Up link.
  4. On the Registration page, you will be able to set up your email and password.
  5. Use your email and password from the previous step to log into the Dashboard. This is where you will upload and manage your digital content.

Step 2: Upload your Content

  1. Log in to your Dashboard.

  2. Click on New Presentation to start creating your presentation.

  3. Enter your Presentation Name and Slide Duration (seconds).
  4. Check the box labeled Is Active to activate it.
  5. Select your background color. For content displayed on your TV in portrait mode, this background color will fill the empty space that the content does not occupy on the screen.
  6. There are four different options for uploading content:
    • Upload File: Upload your PDF, PPTX, PPT or ZIP file by selecting the Upload File option. After choosing the file, confirm the processing of the presentation. Once confirmed, the presentation will save and return you to the Presentation Page. Refresh the page, and when the status changes from “In Process” to “Ready,” click on the Edit icon to add additional content types to your Presentation Playlist.
    • Add New Video: Copy and paste the URL from a YouTube or Vimeo video. To convert the minutes of the videos to seconds, please refer to our Troubleshooting guide. Coming Soon: The ability to load the video directly to our dashboard, eliminating the need for YouTube or Vimeo.
    • Add Web Page: This is currently an experimental feature. Click here to read more about this beta feature and recommendations when using it.
    • Add New Image: Click on the Add New Image to load pictures or gif images. If you wish to do perform a mass upload of more than one picture, we recommend creating a zip file of all the photos, then using the Upload File feature. Coming Soon: A mobile app of our Dashboard will allow you to mass upload images and videos directly.
  7. Click Save. Depending on the size of your file, it could take some time to process your presentation before it streams on the TVs for the first time.
  8. Edit Presentation. Click on the pencil icon to change or delete specific things from the presentation playlist. Click Save. In edit mode, you can rename each content item, customize the slide duration for each item, move an item up or down the list, delete the item, or view the item.

Step 4: Organize and Target Content to Specific TVs

Group Management allows you to organize specific TVs into groups and display a specific presentation to those grouped TVs. For example, if you have a Family Shared Album and several families have verified their devices, you can create a group including all these family members. This way, you can ensure that only the TVs in this group display the Family Shared Album, making it easy to manage and target content to specific audiences.

To set up your groups, make sure you have completed Step 3 above. This step involves installing the app on the TVs and using the authorization code to verify them within your dashboard.

  1. Go to our Device Management Page within the Dashboard.
  2. Click on the Add New Group button and name the group. For example, you might name it “Family Sharing Their TVs,” “TVs in Our House,” or “Friends Sharing Their TVs.”
  3. TVs not assigned to a group will be listed in the Default Group. To move a TV into a newly created group, click on the Move TV icon and select the desired group name for the TV to be associated with.
  4. Now that you have set up your group and assigned your TVs, you can select which presentation to display. Find the group you want to work with and click on the current presentation name or “None” if no presentation is assigned. You will be prompted with a list from which you can select the desired presentation for this group.
  5. You can navigate back to the Content Management page in our Dashboard to verify which presentations are active and which groups are viewing them.

Congratulations! You’ve completed the setup for Digital Frame by CastHub and are ready to manage your multimedia content efficiently.
