Our Story
Digital Finance HQ provides Office of the CFO advisory services to businesses during critical inflection points. With offices in Charleston and New York City, we partner with companies to scale with confidence, deliver measurable outcomes, and build resilient financial organizations.
Our founder, Peter O’Brien, brings over two decades of hands-on financial leadership experience. He has served as CFO at Motivate (the largest bike share operator in North America) and other high-growth companies, where he built and led high-performing finance organizations through periods of rapid growth and operational complexity.
Peter has advised over 40 companies on financial operations, systems implementation, and strategic planning. His experience spans software and SaaS businesses, tech enabled services, ecommerce and manufacturing operations, complex supply chain and logistics companies.
This breadth of experience, from early-stage startups to PE-backed portfolio companies, allows us to bring battle-tested solutions to your specific challenges. We don’t just advise from the sidelines; we roll up our sleeves and work alongside your team to deliver results.
