Morsani College of Medicine and Tampa General Hospital Collaborations

For more than 50 years, the University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine and Tampa General Hospital have worked together to advance patient care, medical education, and biomedical research across Tampa Bay. That longstanding relationship was further strengthened in 2024, when USF Health and Tampa General Hospital announced a historic revised affiliation agreement designed to deepen integration between the institutions and expand their shared commitment to innovation, workforce development, and community health.

This collection highlights collaborative scholarship produced through that partnership, with a particular focus on the contributions of faculty at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine and practitioners at Tampa General Hospital. By preserving and sharing these materials, the University of South Florida supports a record of joint scholarship, clinical innovation, and educational leadership that reflects the strength of this enduring academic health system partnership.
