The Pepperdine Journal of Communication Research seeks to pursue truth and academic excellence in communication, public relations, journalism, advertising, integrated marketing communication, and sports administration by recognizing outstanding student scholarship. Through rigorous peer review, the journal strives to contribute to ongoing discussions in communication by publishing student papers that investigate various contemporary topics and issues. Papers may be research articles, literature reviews, rhetorical analyses, essays, book reviews, speeches, or part of a thematic forum.
