Eligibility
- Participants must be a student at any accredited university/college
- Participants must be registered beforehand (diamondhacks.acmucsd.com)
Teams
- Up to 4 people per team
- Participants cannot be part of multiple teams
- Each team can make at most one submission
- No inappropriate team names (e.g. racist, sexist, sexual, etc)
Project and Submission Requirements
- Video submission: 3 minutes for video
- Submissions should be in English and uploaded on Devpost
- Explain inspirations, how the project was developed, and a short demo in the background.
- Include your code and any other other necessary files to run it in your submission
- To qualify for beginner prize, members of your team have attended at most 2 hackathons or have less than a year of programming experience
Things to Keep in Mind
- All materials submitted should be created during the allotted time frame of the hackathon
- No plagiarism (violation of this policy will result in disqualification)
- Participants must abide by fair play (No sabotaging other teams, manipulating results, or any other violation of the guidelines)
- You cannot submit your project to another hackathon
- Be courteous to people
- If you notice any rules being violated, please talk to volunteers/organizers.
