It has been far too long since I've made and posted icons, but I'm afraid my muse has died. So, I'd like to ask for your favourite photos and images (stuff from stock photo sites, weheart it, Etsy, celebrity photos, anything you think is lovely, really) and I will make icons. This post will remain open until Sunday evening, at which time, I will turn off comments. I will take unlimited requests until then for icons or banners (if you would like a banner, please indicate what size).

First of all, let me apologize for the lack of new content on this community. My computer's hard drive crashed and I lost everything. My baby's in the shop getting fixed, but it will be some time until I get her back again. So, in order to entertain you all, please check out the following:

So, I've found out that there is hacking going on around LiveJournal. In which it's targeted at large communities. They hack into the mod's journal, post the entry below, and then delete content from the community AND the mod's journal. Snagged this image and entry from arofull where I read it.





If anything suspicious appears please...
1) DO NOT CLICK on any suspicious Links, as they are intended to spread a malware keylogger.
2) Contact me; cloverdew, if this arises in this community (or any other of my communities)
3) Report it to LiveJournal.

Also grabbed this part on where you can make sure you're protected from being hacked.

1) Change your Password once a year & make it complex; include numbers, letters, and capitalization.
2) Add a "Secret Question" that is to be asked if you forget your password.
3) Clear out old & inactive e-mail accounts.
4) As always, Run a Virus/Antimalware scan on your computer.

So keep a look out here and in ANY other communities you're a part of. DO NOT CLICK ANY OF THE LINKS. No matter what.

I'm sorry to say that it has finally had to come to this, but I am doing something I really hate. I am making this icon journal friends only. There are a few reasons behind this, but most importantly, people are not following the few simple rules I have laid out for my work. If you have not yet friended this community, but are interested in friending and keeping up with future work, you are more than welcome to leave a comment here and I will add your journal to the friends list. If you have been added and I find that you are not following the few simple rules here, you will be banned from the community. No exceptions.

Why?
1. Comment: So I know you're taking and what you like and don't like and can improve on my graphics, provide more icons people enjoy, and generally improve the site.
2. Credit: So people can find their ways back to this site if they like what they see, so people can suggest or request new icons, so you yourself know where you got the icon!
3. Not Hotlinking: because I host a lot of graphics on the same page and if people start to hotlink all over the place, it steals bandwidth from that site and could prevent the image from being seen in the proper places or at all.
4. None Are Bases: I've done quite a bit of work on the graphics I post. They aren't intended to be added to or modified. If you would like text or manipulations of the icons I've posted, just ask and I'll most likely be happy to oblige.

In addition, I'm going to open up this post for personal or group requests. If you'd like to see a certain theme, colour, celebrity, etc., just leave a comment for me here and I'll add it to my list!
