What is Starlight?

Hiya👋 Thanks for checking this out!! Starlight is a software project showcase, aimed at highlighting all the amazing software projects being built at UNSW by students and academics.

On showcase day (July 25th) at UNSW Roundhouse, each project will get a space to showcase their demo and chat with attendees about their project!

Whether you’ve just started programming, or a seasoned veteran we want to see what you’ve made!  As a bit of incentive we have prizes and merch for all kinds of skill levels. So give it a shot!

There’s (almost) no restriction on what kind of project you can submit. Whether its an old project from years ago or something you’ve hacked together for a recent hackathon we want to hear from you. Bring the project you like the most! We also welcome hardware and mechatronic projects.

Please note only UNSW students will be eligible for prizes

Judging for prizes will occur in-person — hence, attendance is strongly encouraged.

For club leaders:
If you would like to have your society represented at Starlight, please get in touch with us at contact@devsoc.app. We’d love to have you!

Hope to see you there!
