Inspiration

One aspect I’ve found lacking at my public high school is the individual attention students receive from guidance counselors. My initial idea was to create an advanced student dashboard using the data provided by DoIT. As I began developing the project, however, it evolved into a web app modeled after what I envisioned as my ideal college guidance platform. The goal was to provide personalized support tailored to each student’s needs, helping them receive the kind of focused counseling that’s often missing in a large school setting.

What it does

StudyCompass provides an intuitive platform for students to monitor their performance with courses, as well as study habits. It offers an in-depth analysis of your studying habits and shows how to make the most of continued studies. It can also generate a personalized course roadmap and insight with details on class difficulty and importance.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud to have made a project that I would actually use. If I had the proper data on myself, I would certainly use and benefit from a personalized study aid.
