Idea

Creating an app for betting (aka prediction marketplace) on university events. Students, professors, and everyone else will be able to predict exam pass rates, course grade point averages, and much more.

What it does

By downloading our app on IOS/Android you will be able to easily register with it using your crypto wallet. After depositing your balance you will be given a large selection of events on which you could practice your intuition and try to predict the outcome of the event. In case you answer correctly, you will be rewarded with a certain amount of points/money/university points.

How we built it

Backend of the application is written on Anchor Framework, designed for development on blockchain Solana, using Rust programming language. The design is created using Figma. Client-side application is developed on Flutter.

Challenges we ran into

Development on Anchor Framework taken as the basis of our application. Decentralization of the application. Learning the features of writing code on the Solana blockchain. Exploring Solana's key technologies. Connecting backend to frontend to make the application work.
