SkillEdge enables users to learn about soft skills, as well as other skills that they might not learn in a traditional education, such as communication, public speaking, professional attire, etc.

Inspiration

I was inspired to design this app due to having trouble with an interview. I was thinking about how useful it would be if I had a way to learn these skills without trial and error, when I came up with the idea for SkillEdge.

What it does

SkillEdge is a mobile app that has courses that teach users skills that aren't taught as often in traditional educational environments, such as soft skills(communication, public speaking, etc.).

How we built it

I designed it in canva and used figma to organize the site pages.

Challenges we ran into

I was having trouble with some of the app design due to a technical misconception, but was able to eventually figure it out. I was also working individually, which meant that I had more work to do.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I still managed to finish this project, and ended up with a product that I believe is a solid display of my abilities.

What we learned

I learned more about how to use canva as well as just product design in general.

What's next for SkillEdge

I plan on developing and releasing this app soon.
