✨ Inspiration

We love the Pokémon series growing up with it and having a great community of like-minded people, recent releases and series of this world like Palworld, Temtem, Ooblets, and World of Final Fantasy Maxim also catch our attention and gave us idea why not create your "own custom" Pocket monster, have a battle arena and explore the world of pocket monsters!

⚙️What it does

Pocket Monster Creator is a web app that lets you create your own pocket monsters using a simple and intuitive interface. You can give a description from their different body parts, colors, patterns, and accessories to customize your creatures. You can also give them a name, give them a custom description, and assign them a type and a power level. You can also try "Battle Arena" to test your skills and try "Adventure the World of Pocket Monster" for fun and the thrill of text-adventure!

🛠️How we built it

The app is made in partrock aws, a platform that allows you to build and deploy web apps without coding. We used claude LLM, a natural language model that can generate text based on keywords or prompts. We integrated claude LLM with partrock aws using their API and webhooks. We also created our own custom prompts to align in the world of pocket monster, and cuztomized the advance setting of temperature that controls the “creativity” or randomness of the text generated by AI language models. and top-p (nucleus) This allows for dynamic vocabulary selection based on context.

🚀 Challenges we ran into

Some of the challenges we faced were finding the right balance between creativity and realism for the pocket monsters, ensuring that the app was user-friendly and responsive, and dealing with the limitations of the natural language model.

🏆Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating an app that is fun and engaging for users of all ages. We are also happy with the diversity and originality of the pocket monsters that the app can generate. We think that our app can spark the imagination and curiosity of users and inspire them to learn more about biology, mythology, and art.

🧠What we learned

We learned a lot about web development, natural language generation & understanding, and how to use the widget in party rock aws. We learn to customize and engineer our prompts and modify the advance settings top-p and temperature. We also learned how to work as a team and overcome challenges together.

🏗️What's next for Pocket Monster Creator

We plan to add more features and improvements to our app in the future. Some of the ideas we have are adding more customized prompts, allowing users to share their pocket monsters with others, creating a gallery of the most popular or interesting pocket monsters, and adding a game mode where users can battle their pocket monsters against each other.
