Inspiration
Naftal Challenge
What it does
Payments for individual clients using their mobile phones with the ability to recharge the credit on their account whenever they wish, and for the corporate clients we used a QR that sends the bill straight to the client's parent company via Email for it to be payed at the end of the month (alongside other bills) via a bank transaction
How we built it
For the mobile app we started from scratch using Java and for our database we used Firebase Realtime Database and Firebase Authentication for user account management, we also used HTML, CSS and JS for the front end of our dashboard (the dashboard is used by Naftal empolyees to recharge user's accounts)
Challenges we ran into
Security concerns, mobile payments without a credit card, user account management and separation between standard clients and corporate ones
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The idea of credit and recharging your account all digitally with no use of papers, also the fact we managed to get a prototype, mobile app, and dashboard prototype all in less than 3 days with one of our members being absent as well.
What we learned
Conception, design thinking, time management, task separation and a great revision for our pre requisits such as Android studio, Firebase and HTML, CSS, JS
What's next for Hackit3 Naftal Pay
our feature vision for the product are vast, we look to add an AI controlled camera that verifies the car in question and processes the transaction without the need for a QR code,
