Flip and fly is a responsive website that makes use of your mobile device's accelerometer. Just shake your phone/tablet and you will be suggested a full itinerary (destination, outbound and inbound flights, accommodation for the duration of the trip as well as one uniquely proposed activity).
Flip and fly picks randomly from renowned destinations such as Paris, London, Barcelona, NYC and uses the 38hours curated travel information (in order to suggest restaurants, recreational areas, shops etc.) one hotel from a pre-selection of boutique hotels and flights. Be aware though that this is not your normal travel guide. You will not find lazy recommendations that everyone is sick and tired of hearing about (none of that Eiffel Tower, Buckingham Palace or other touristic travel guide stuff) but original suggestions from our network of curators (artists, fashion designers, restaurant owners and connoisseurs from around the world).
Flip and fly is an app that fits the well traveled and knowledgeable tourist. It expects that its customers have already been to most cities around the world and are looking for that special experience. It is an app for when they want to escape their hometown as soon as possible (within the next 24-36 hours), not have to worry about any details and be pleasantly surprised by locations and activities at their destination. It's meant to make them feel as if they are guided by a friend to all the "underground" places that only a local would know and appreciate.
Flip and fly uses Lufhansa Flightsearch API, Sabre Hotels API as well as info from our own 38hours guides.
