Inspiration
saw they were throwing stuff away in Dunkin Donuts after closing so we wanted to have a way to give it to the needy instead of it being thrown away.
What it does
connects buyers and sellers of foods like foodbanks and restaurants so they can negotiate prices to make both sides happy.
How we built it
with thunkable and we used block coding with multiple screens that ask questions like if you are a buyer or seller, etc. Also, we linked the information to a spreadsheet so we can match buyers and sellers.
Challenges we ran into
we struggled to find a coding software that was unblocked on school computer.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
creating a website, and creating an app that's able to send information to google sheets.
What we learned
how to create websites and coding and app that is pretty advanced.
What's next for FEED Back!
an application that uses keywords to connect sellers with buyers autonomously so we don't have to do that work manually.
