Inspiration
We noticed a market gap when looking for solutions for withdrawing and depositing cash conveniently. Currently, there is no method of performing transactions at home, so we decided to develop a solution for this. We wanted to target working professions who wish to get more done with their time. .
What it does
This app allows users of different banks to deposit and withdraw cash in the comfort of their own homes. It allows users to select the exact bills and coins they require and sends a mobile ATM to their location on demand.
How we built it
We used React-Native, Redux, Typescript to build a mobile iOS app. Webpack and babel were used to compile and build the project. Moreover, styled-system and styled-components were used to create a front-end design system in React for a consistent user experience.
We designed the mockups in Adobe XD and created the logo in Illustrator.
Challenges we ran into
The most significant challenge we ran into was prioritizing the most crucial aspects of the app so we could build as much as possible in the limited time frame given.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are very proud of the prototype we have created as it performs all the significant aspects of this app. We also had very strong collaboration and communication skills that allowed us to make this much progress.
What we learned
We learned how to use React-Native to build mobile applications and improved our design skills in Adobe XD.
