Inspiration
We want to enable individuals, especially from the GenZ generation, to take interest in Cryptocurrencies and the world of Blockchain and get an idea of its functioning through our Crypto Trading Simulator. We have also provided learning modules for those who wish to learn more about the technology which powers all these digital currencies and appreciate its endless possibilities.
What it does
CoinLearn is a crypto trading simulator for people who wish to try out investing in cryptocurrencies without having the risk of losing their money. We use real-time data of cryptocurrencies. Users are given $1,000 to start with and they can buy and sell crypto.
Challenges we ran into
- Integrating the Coingecko API was a challenge
- We faced some challenges while setting up chart.js for charts
- Setting up Supabase was a challenge

- We learned how to use Chakra-UI to create UI elements
- We learned how to integrate Supabase in a project
