Deskview

Deskview is a small .exe file that, when you double-click it, automatically reduces the size of all your desktop icons. It also organizes them as they would appear in the list view of a folder.

For some, this may be a blessing, but for others, it may get annoying. To return your desktop icons to their original size, just double-click on the .exe file again. The only drawback is that this will probably mess up the order of your icons.

Deskview is an interesting application – especially useful if you have a lot of icons on your desktop. But if you're shortsighted it's not a good idea as the icons can get very small.
