UV&Me, a program from the nonprofit Sun Safety for Kids, is an organization dedicated to reducing the burden of skin cancer. With chapters being established at universities across the US and Canada, UV&Me offers students interested in dermatology valuable service-learning experiences.
Chapter members engage in studying skin cancer and its prevention, preparing to deliver sun safety presentations in community schools. These presentations are backed by evidence-based materials, prepared or vetted by board-certified dermatologists, available in our comprehensive Resource Library. Additionally, members are encouraged to contribute original materials for potential inclusion in the library.
