A warm welcome to you! Since almost all of my posts include personal pictures & comments, I've decided to f-lock my journal. If you're interested in my twisted take on life & you'd like me to add you, please comment below or send me a PM. LL&P (˘ε˘)
[Thank you Veterans everywhere!] Joe Knautz, W02, beside the Pegasus, one of the B-24 Liberator four-engine long-range bombers the 159 Pathfinder Force, RAF Squadron flew during 12-18 hour missions over Burma and South-East Asia during WWII. Dad was the nose gunner on one of the B-24 Liberator bombers that destroyed the best-known site on the Thai-Burma railway, built in 1942–43 by British prisoners of war based at Tha Markam, known to movie-goers as The Bridge On the River Kwai.
Edit This additional photo's for <lj user=tripperfunster>. I always laugh when I see my brother's expression, & my dad's tie. Also, you can tell that this photo was colorized. What dude wears blush? *giggle* I have better, less wooden-looking photos of them but none that are scanned into the computer yet.
