Commitment to quality and tradition

Our origins date back to 1927, when our founder, María Rojas, took over a small confitiría in Sonseca, Toledo. The fame of the Delaviuda confitería was born due to the care she dedicated to the elaboration of her sweets.

Delaviuda’s confitería specialities are sent out today with the very same quality standards, which we reach by maintaining tradition in the production process, which ensures none of the flavour is lost during the process.

During our production we use traditional production processes, which allow us to keep the same flavours that we have always had alive.

At Delaviuda, we strive to offer products of the highest quality through the careful monitoring of raw materials and production processes before, during and after the manufacture of our sweets.

Our team is made up of real experts who have been making our Christmas sweets and chocolates for almost 100 years. This experience is reflected in products that could not be made in any other way than through years of learning and perfecting our recipes.

Our product launches and developments respond to new trends and consumer needs in the market.

Thanks to Delaviuda’s R&D team, consisting of more than ten experts, including technicians and chefs, and our own pilot plant, we are able to adapt and create without limit so that we never stop surprising customers with our sweets. In the last year, more than 30 new products have been released from our Sonseca plant and we are constantly thinking about future launches.
