About

This is the blog site of the online, un-disciplinary, Open Access journal, Decolonization: Indigeneity, Education & Society, which can be found at www.decolonization.orgDecolonization is a journal which centers and privileges various forms of Indigenous knowledges and decolonial epistemologies and methodologies for the purpose of decolonization.

This blog is about extending and building community. It is about challenging what it means to be ‘open’ and ‘accessible’. It is about ensuring that what we write and produce is useful to those who are engaged in decolonization struggles. It is about being able to feature and centre artists, activists, and non-academics who have insights, knowledge and contributions that are too often ignored by academics. It is about thinking, together, other wise.

Decolonization uses this space to publish original short essays, poetry, stories, interviews, artwork, audio files, book and movie reviews, and anything else that we feel is useful to decolonization discussions. We are always open to discussing new ways in which we can use this space better…

Blog posts are written and moderated by the Editors of Decolonization, as well as guest writers. Want to write? We encourage you to email us with your ideas or articles (editors@decolonization.org) and look at the blog policies.

Hello there, I love the premise of this blog. Will there be content coming? I notice the .org site you linked is no longer available.

    Excitedly Yours,
    FR

      Peace,

Our journal content is available at http://www.decolonization.org (should be working) & we’re still working on getting this blog up in conjunction with it – though not quite yet! Thanks for checking us out!
