It Takes a Village is hosted on Substack, a newsletter platform. When you subscribe to receive posts via email, Substack collects and processes your data on our behalf.

Subscription type (free or paid Circle Member)
Email engagement data (whether you open emails, click links)
Payment information (if you become a Circle Member - processed securely by Stripe, Substack’s payment processor)

To send you new posts and updates via email
To manage your subscription preferences
To provide access to Circle Member-only content and events if applicable
To understand which content resonates with readers (aggregate analytics only)
Your rights:
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email
You can update your email preferences or subscription type at any time
You can request deletion of your data by contacting me at [your email]
Circle Members can cancel their subscription at any time through their Substack account settings
Data sharing: I will never sell, rent, or share your email address or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is stored securely on Substack’s servers.
