My name is Juan Manuel Contreras. I received my PhD in psychology from Harvard University, where I was trained as a neuroscientist. Currently, I work as senior data scientist of the Democratic National Committee.

I started this blog to document my extracurricular data science projects.

I have also written about bad neuroscience journalism at Procrustean Neuroscience and I am currently writing about my effort to program a Monopoly simulator at Python Monopoly.
