Here's how the race works:

Friday (March 27 | 4:00 PM) Kickoff session + dataset release. The challenge begins!

24-Hour Sprint (starts Friday) Analyze the data, uncover insights, and build stunning visualizations or dashboards.

Saturday (March 28 | 4:00 PM) Submit your work at the end of the 24-hour clock and give a quick 5–10 minutes pitch to our professor-judges.

Sunday Finals The top 5 teams present their solutions to our sponsor and compete for prizes.

How team formation works?

Team Size 1–4 students

Work from? Anywhere! Home or the designated classrooms (SOM 2.803 & SOM 2.901)

Please Note: You will have to be present in person on the day of the submission to present to the judges. It’s mandatory for every team in order to be considered and move forward.

Bonus: Snacks and refreshments provided.

Requirements

Submit Everything! Everything that speaks for you and your project when you are not pitching.

Everything includes : Pitch deck, Python notebook, Tableau/PowerBI workbook, short video walkthrough, or any combination of the above. Mandatory: Teams must pitch in person to the professors after submission, at the 24-hour mark, on campus.

Whatever is submitted on Saturday will be the complete package that our sponsors will have access to after the hackathon. They will judge your work and ask questions based on that submission and your final presentation on Sunday, March 29, 2026.

  • What do the judges expect?
    Lendarch wants to understand how their day-to-day data can be viewed through a different lens, what meaningful insights you can unlock, and how those insights can drive more well-rounded business decisions, create value, and leave a lasting impact.
  • 1. Data Storytelling and Insight = 40 points
  • 2. Visual Design and Effectiveness = 30 points
  • 3. Technical Skill and Accuracy = 20 points
  • 4. Relevance and Scope = 10 points
