This will be my first time going to the Amateur night . I hope I will enjoy it.! Good luck to me!
I`m so glad that Selena is home. I was getting squirrely in the hospital, which is not a good thing. She is feeling much better and will have to stay home for a few weeks. I just hope that she don`t push herself to hard. I also hope that Ms. Williams made it home, she sounded so sad in the hospital.
This day has been very stressful and scary. Selena wasn`t feeling well and was throwing up all morning and she had severe stomach pains. We had to ride in the ambulance the doctor`s, it was soooo bad =(. I didn`t like seeing her in so much pain. She has to get surgery b/c the doctor said she had appendicitis and they have to remove it before it bursts. Luckily, the surgery went well and now she says she`s feeling much better now that her appendix is gone. We`ve been calling Lynn and Grandma all day. There is another person in the room ,so we must be quiet. Hopefully, Selena will come home tomorrow and rest. I don`t like the thought of leaving her here alone but it is Baptist hospital policy. I hope that the lady next to hers family come see her in the morning. She`s elderly.
Going out last week was fun. We went to the Ebony Fashion Show. I finally got to go to a REAL fashion show. They moldeled clothing from Craolina Herrera, one of my fav designers. We saw Tyler Perry`s new play "The Marriage Counselour' that Thursday. I really loved that week!
I must take the damn thing over again in January 2008. Can`t blame anyone but myselft though. Hwo I wish I had`ve done this thing back when I was a sophmore.
I met a blind woman on Tuesday. He name was Ms. Diane. As I was leaving he bathroom with my sister, she happened to bump into the door. She kept saying that she needed to get outside and my sister and I tried to show her out. So I helped her out after she almost went into the bathroom. This all took place at FCCJ downtown , which isn`t a good place for a blind woman since it`s being remodeled. Ms. Diane kept telling me about her ball on her stick which at the moment, wasn`t really helping. I led her outside and she told me her name and that she was new to being blind. She also told me that she was 47, and I said that whas about he same age as my Mom. We almost went into the grass a couple of times, but everything worked out. We were almost to the parking lot when a guy with a yellow shirt walked up and told me he was her driver. He told me that I should next time let a blind person hold my arm instead of the other way around. He did tell me I did a great job though. I hope that Ms. Diane made it home ok and maybe we might bump into each other again.
Today I must take the dreaded Clast Exam. If I don`t pass then I don`t get out of the University of North Florida. I guess that why they call this school "you never finish". I hope everything goes ok.
I just signed up for a new class. I hope it`s worth it since it`s not in my major.
