The latest version of this app is not backwards compatible. All users must update both the Darklab iOS app to Version 1.14, and their device’s current Firmware update for better functionality, and to continue utilizing Bluetooth(R) connectivity and in-app controls.

○ A signal strength status icon will be present on each device.
○ Holding down the device icon will prompt a new pop-up menu to appear, allowing you to enable the following options:

● Help Menu Screen:
○ New button will link to Darklab’s FAQ web page
● Power Control Panel:
○ Animated buttons will match the pushed buttons on the selected, physical device.
● Firmware Screen:
○ Current installed version is now displayed above the update button.
○ Under the firmware icon, a new update notification will appear to notify users whenever a new firmware update is available to install.
○ If an error occurs during an update, a code will be displayed for technical support reference.
● Settings Screen:
○ Resolution
■ Allows to change the voltage precision by increments of 0.1 volts or 0.5 volts.
○ Automatic LED fading (excludes PowerBolt II, PowerBolt II+, and BellarAir)
■ Fades the light of the LED brightness automatically, from high to low.
○ Manual LED Dimmer (excludes PowerBolt II, PowerBolt II+, and BellarAir)
■ Allows to dim the brightness of the LED with a slider, from high to low or vice versa.
○ KillSwitch

- Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.

a. When changing the resolution within the iOS application, the motor will not turn on unless the Center/Power button is pressed.
2. Menu:
a. User can now hold down Center button to open built-in menu and use the Up & Down buttons to navigate the menu options more easily. Press the Center button again on desired setting. Previously the center button needed to be held down continuously.
3. Killswitch:
a. When connecting the Killswitch via the battery or iOS application, the customer must tap Killswitch 3 times and wait for the “Connected” message to show on the battery’s display screen to confirm that the connection was successful.

Note:
The pedal and KillSwitch cannot be used at the same time.
Once the app has been updated, it is required that all users update their devices to the latest version of Firmware for proper connectivity, device communication, and functionality.
Users do not have the ability to use the upgraded technology Firmware with past versions of the app that do not have the necessary, up-to-date technology support.
