About Dani
Connecting people. Building community. My name is Dani Cutler and I’m a digital marketer, radio personality, podcaster, and event promoter.
I was classically trained in music since elementary school, developing my ear for music and sound. I understand the importance of listening, not just to music but to each other. From 2006–2012 I hosted, wrote, and produced a current events podcast. Connecting with the online community also led to voice-acting roles in audio dramas and books. In 2007 I became the mid-day announcer for KWSS Independent Radio based in Phoenix, Arizona, and in 2016 I moved to mornings. During my 16 years with the station, I was also the Promotions and Marketing Manager along with co-managing daily operations. You often found me at a local music show around town, and from my relationships with the indie music community became known as “Scene Mom.”
That nickname stuck, and it’s now the name of my weekly podcast, Scene Mom Says, where I spotlight independent artists through interviews, music, and industry news. Supporting indie music and the people who make it has always been at the heart of what I do.
With the continuing growth of social media and digital marketing overall, I submerged myself in the technology-based community volunteering for PodcampAZ (which became TechPhx). In 2012 I led the organizing committee, which was very successful with over 200 attendees and 20+ speakers during the two-day event. I also spent a year organizing Brownbag presentations at Gangplank Chandler. Through these organizations I have gained insight into how social media and digital marketing works, and how best to connect with people, online and off.
In summer of 2023, I made the move from Arizona to Massachusetts, and I jumped right into my new community. I’m a member of the Greater Gardner Chamber of Commerce and serve as chair of the Winchendon Cultural Council, where I’ve seen first-hand the economic and cultural impact that bringing events to a town can have. That passion led me to found Montapalooza, an annual independent music festival at Winchendon Community Park & Amphitheater featuring local and regional artists across two stages. This project is rooted in everything I love: live music, community, and championing the independent scene.
Today, through Dani Cutler Content Creation LLC, I work with clients across internet, professional services, and small business- developing social media strategies,

content calendars, ad campaigns, and branded content that helps them connect with their audiences. To me, it’s not just about advertising; it’s about connecting with your customers on a personal level- listening to what they want and need, and responding directly. With my background in podcasting and radio, I also understand the importance of using every form of communication to reach an audience.
