A little about me:
I live in the beautiful state of Idaho, in the Northern part, where I am surrounded by mountains. My husband drives truck over-the-road, and my son is a teenager. I have had many occupations, and have lived a pretty full life.
Along with being a wife of over twenty years, and home school mom for the past ten years, I have worked for the Forest Service as a fire-detection lookout. I was a volunteer for the local fire department as a firefighter and emergency medical technician. I have been a truck driver, worked for the post-office as a relief postmaster, worked in reservations for a resort, have been a security guard and a cashier. I could go on with lots of other jobs I’ve had, as it seems I thrive on change, and being able to experience life to the fullest.
I enjoy learning and teaching. I have been called a dreamer, as I am not satisfied with standing still, and I am always looking for adventure, seeking for some thrill that life might hold. One of my favorite posters had a picture of a horse in the sunset, and it said, “Oh what a wonderful world to see and explore”.
I am a Christian, above all else, and want to share some of my thoughts and talk about my morning devotions. Each morning I read a passage of the Bible, or use a devotional book that has a verse and story. Sometimes, I think about things I’ve experienced during the day, that have taught me a lesson, or helped me grow spiritually. I would like to share these ideas and thoughts with others. To keep them to myself, would be like hoarding gold.
I hope you can let me know your thoughts on some of the things I write, and experience a full life as well. It does come with both the good and the bad.
Let’s experience the journey of life together.
-Dawn-
