Summary: Thirty-one lost (and found) stories from Green Lake and beyond.
A/N: This story has been sitting on my hard drive for years. My recent rewatching of Holes prompted me to finish it...
It borrows quite heavily from my previous Holes fanfics. While it's set in the bookverse, it borrows a few things from the movieverse- names and so on. Any names you don't recognise were made up by me. Enjoy and be sure to read the warnings-
WARNINGS: This story deals pretty heavily with racism- as in, right from the start there's racist language, racist slurs and racist people. There's also homophobia, prostitution, the loss of a child, suicide, ableist slurs, and general cruelty. It's not pretty, but I hope it adds up to something good in the end.

It kind of blows my mind that when Holes came out, I was 15 and I adored it, and I just re-watched it yesterday and it turns out that I still adore it! I started writing fanfiction for it almost straight after my recent viewing, which I will definitely post here when I finish. One thing that I noticed (and I am so, so, so terrible for this) is that there is so much more innuendo in this than I ever noticed when it first came out. I mean, there are boys. Lacking girls. Living in tents. On a long-term basis. Hi, slash! Anyway, just thought I'd comment.

I realized earlier on that "Holes" didn't have much of a fandom, but it still attracted me. I love the writing and the plot and if this became a series with the stories of each boy it would be so famous. Even more so. With the addition of a bigger fandom.
But speaking of things that attract, where can I find Magnet SLASH stories? With either Squid or ZigZag (preferreably). Can anyone link any?
