Each year on Veterans Day, we celebrate our Veterans at a school assembly.
Launched in 2007, thousands of schools nationwide have participated in Take a Veteran to School Day. From single class visits to all-school assemblies, these events provide a way for students to learn more about the history of Veterans Day and about the experiences of veterans from all backgrounds and walks of life. Inviting veterans to share their stories connects generations while helping our young people learn about the past.

This year, on November 7, 2025, we will celebrate our Veterans at our Friday morning assembly at 7:45am on the blacktop.
CALLING ALL CROCS!
Do you have a veteran in your family? If so, please invite and bring them to school, escorting them to our 7:45 am ceremony on the blacktop.
Please complete and turn in a Veteran Recognition form. Share your Veteran’s name, branch of service and years served along with a note thanking them. Include a photo of you with your veteran. These will be displayed in the Multipurpose Room.
Download the Veteran Recognition Form below. The form is due on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Thank you for taking part in this year’s Veterans Day assembly. It was a great success and such a privilege that we were able to honor our veterans together.
Veterans, you are invited to join our assembly on the blacktop, followed by refreshments in the Multipurpose Room so we may thank you for your service. Please RSVP to VeteransDay@cvespta.org by Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
