"Card Captor Sakura" Limited Shop Reappears at Shinjuku Marui Annex!
Following the popular spring illustration, the summer illustration is "Summer Festival", it features Sakura together with Syaoran in kimono and Kero ♪
In commemoration of this event, sales of new products based on the original illustration and advance sales products, lottery for purchase etc. will be held.

The japanese edition of Card Captor Sakura Clear Card volume 05 has been announced!
Both regular and special edition will be released in Japan on Spetember3rd, 2018!
The Special Edition will come with a Nendoroid Petite of Sakura, the design is based on the cover art of the volume, by CLAMP of course! ^^

Well, 'things happened': I actually pre-ordered it a long time before it was even released, but ended up getting a cancellation message from amazon's customer service in December...They actually also cancelled my pre-order of One Piece 2017 calendar (comic edition), I was crazy disappointed D:
Nonetheless, when I went looking, they still had stocks of the DGM 2017 calendar, but I was in no hurry to get it and, to be sincere, hesitated about purchasing it at all at that point ^^;
Still, after much thinking, I decided to buy it in the end! :)

So, ultimately, what is there to say about this calendar?
Well, it's a bit more expensive than many other calendars with the same dimensions, there is no new art, and it's starring a series which went on hiatus for a long period of time (2012-2015) and we now only get 4 chapters a year, so, logically, many fans lost interest, and even while not forgetting about it and keeping a fond memory of it, they are not quite 'into it'. I confess having lukewarm feelings as well because it was stopped for so long. Nonetheless, a new anime series was aired very recently (fall 2016) which explains why this calendar exists at all...
It sounds quite negative, uh? ^^; But this is the bare truth, as is the fact DGM is an epic manga which is unique in its kind, and while some things have been a bit confusing in the latest chapters, it's still very much a masterpiece in my eyes. The artworks of Katsura Hoshino are beautiful, as you can see above, and a sight for sore eyes for the fans of the series!
The calendar comes in its very own large carton box, and inside a plastic wrap too. It's not one of those calendars which are rolled into a tube. It's a bi-monthly calendar and the pages need to be ripped off every 2 months to leave place to the ones under them. The "D.GRAY-MAN" title on the cover is all shiny and gold ^^
Do I recommend it? It would be weird not to, considering I bought it myself; but then, seeing how long I hesitated before validating the purchase, I'm not sure I'm well placed to do so either ^^;;;;
Ultimately, I see this as a merchandise directed to the current faithful fans of the series and the nostalgics, or simply to people who sorta like it and weren't convinced into buying any other calendars out there hahaha This is a high quality product, and something I will enjoy looking at for sure :D
January 5th: fell very badly and violently hit the icy ground while ice skating, was pushed by mistake from behind by some kids, so it was an unexpected fall.
It hurt, A LOT, I was seriously screaming.
Ends in ER, my wrist is not only broken but also needs surgery…
January 6th: Surgery, it went well.
January 7th: I left the hospital and went back home.
January 17th: Took the cast off but not the stitches, that will be done on January 24th.
Now: Still resting! My wrist still hurts in spite of the meds, but I am getting better.
Thankfully, it wasn’t my dominant hand, but still, typing on a keyboard with one hand in surprisingly tiring ^^;;
It's been SO long since I've last bought an Animage, and when I want one, it's 'unavailable' ;_; I totally got seduced by that valentine themed cover featuring YoI, dammit...
