I did it last year and reached 1050 episodes. Here's to watching more this year.
2008 : 500 episodes in one year As the title suggests this is a challenge to watch 500 episodes of TV-shows in one year. The only rule is that if you watch a certain episode more than once in a year you can only list it again if you haven't already listed it for that month.
4th annual yearly round up. I did this in 2005, 2006 and 2007 HERE and now it's just becoming a tradition.
As you may remember, this list is never really a "hottest" list - just men in entertainment that did great things in the past year, in my eyes. Though, lots of them are very hot. ;)
Anyway - so here's the start of my picks for the Top 50 Men of 2008.
These pictures of musician Steve Carlson were taken by me with my Canon Digital Rebel on 04/05/08 or 04/07/08 in Orlando, FL at The Social and/or EyeCon.
If you already know me, you're probably aware that photography is one of my major hobbies, so being able to photograph Steve, a musician that I totally dig, again, was fucking awesome. I first had the chance in Dallas last fall, and pictures from that adventure can be found right here.
Info/Rules:
- Do not re-upload or host these pictures anywhere else without my express permission. Linking to this post is completely fine, I don't mind at all, that's why it's not friends locked, but taking taking individual images and storing them elsewhere online is not cool.
- Feel free to use them for any fanart/icon stuff. I'm a iconner too, so I know how it feels to find new pictures to use. Feel free. Just credit crystalkirk please if you do use them.
- Not all the actual photos are vertical. I just did the thumbs that way to make things nice and neat, so there very well may be, and often is, more to an image than you're seeing in the thumbnail.
I also already try to do 100 Movies and 52 Books each year, so what's another crazy list between friends? LOL.

3rd annual yearly round up. I did this in 2005 and 2006 HERE and now it's just becoming a little tradition, so I thought I should do it again this year too. And since I've been so busy, I figured I better get on the ball and do it a titch early, just in case.

While driving home the other night my friend and I got to discussing Stand By Me. Of course we argued about which of the boys we liked when we first watched it as kids.
Which led to a huge argument, of course. Our taste in boys didn't even match up back then, apparently, heh.
I just added a ton more cheesy 80's and 90's songs to the iPod. My iPod is such a schizo dork. If it were ever lost, whoever found it would think I probably have serious issues. (The fact that "Mine is an evil laugh." is engraved on the back probably wouldn't help my case. Heh.) The only person that could possibly have a dorkier iPod than this one is probably J.D. from Scrubs, and that's just sad. Yet, funny. Hee!
These pictures of musician Steve Carlson were taken by either my best friend or me with my Canon Digital Rebel on 10/05/07 in Dallas, TX at The City Tavern.
If you already know me, you're aware that photography is one of my major hobbies, so being able to photograph a musician that I totally dig was made of awesome.

A few people asked about the caps I made from the Kane England vid, and I told them I'd try to get them up. Well, I didn't have time to dig through them all and pick out duplicate/blurry ones. So I just uploaded all of them I had in a zip file, so there's a mess of them, but that's the best I could do.
New Kane, Lost, Queer as Folk, Blood Ties and Other icons.
This is an icon batch I started in, oh, February? So some are older, some were made yesterday, but I figured it was time to get them freakin' posted already before the batch got even bigger.
I was doing the puzzles in the newspaper the other day, and look at what one of the jumbles was:
Nobody around me got what I was so damn amused by - until my best friend came in. He still didn't care (the bastard) but at least he freaking got it. Heh.
Threadless is having a Valentine's Day sale where if you buy two of any one design in any sizes you'll get $10 off. Not really helpful to me, but it might be useful to someone, I guess. Heh.
I'm just happy because there's finally prints I'd actually buy again.
The "I Can't Draw" one is especially exciting for me, because cameras, I totally dig. :)
I did this LAST YEAR so I thought I should do it again this year too. It's not really a "hottest" list - just men in entertainment that did big things in the past year, in my eyes.
Since I don't feel as great this year, so the notes under each pick aren't as detailed, if they're there at all. Sorry. Maybe I'll edit that info in later, if I feel like it. :)
Anyway - so here's my picks for the Top 50 Men of 2006.
I made it last night, er, early this morning. I actually made it as an icon first *points at icon* and then was like, you know, I'd totally love this to be my layout if I can make it happen.
So I worked at recreating it - full size. And it worked. Yay! I also made it into wallpapers. Which means I really got no iconning done, lol, oh well. New layout trumps icons, I suppose. Heh.
As always, all wallpapers were originally sized for 1280x800. So if you're just wanting to look at them, that's the size to see, because nothing would be altered and edited out to fit a smaller size. Walls may be used for your desktops only. Especially since this is my layout. Thanks. :)
The Threadless 30 day $10 sale is now winding down to a close. Woe. Time to pick through all the designs and see what I still want to get.
I'm just totally bummed that "Know Your Meats" wasn't reprinted during the sale. For some reason, I totally thought that it would've been.
I really don't need anymore t-shirts right now, my closet is just about overflowing as is, but that doesn't mean I don't want them. Heh. So these are the ones I'm considering getting:
I really wish "Homework Evidence" had been available in kid's sizes - the little guy would have TOTALLY appreciated that one, hee! :)
