- Contact the schools for information concerning the programs they offer that fit with your Goals for boating.
- Book Your Chosen Dates
- Complete the Theoretical study requirements through the assigned materials.
- Attend the Afloat/On Board dates you’ve choosen for all the Practical objectives and coaching sessions.
- Receive your stamped and certified logbook and get ready for your next adventure.
VHF Maritime Radio Certificate
No prerequisite needed, but Maritime Agencies and Charter Companies require the operator of a vessel equipped with a VHF radio, to know how to use the radio, keep the radio on whilst underway and show proof of a personal certification, the ROC-M.
The course materials are available online and your final oral exam is conducted by a CanBoat Nautisavoir registered examiner.
