Apologies to all those who celebrate Christmas and Channukah...I missed both of those. But Happy Kwanza and a Happy New Year to the rest of you. May each year be better than the last.


I can't say I've done much celebrate, anyone up for iceskating at the indoor rink or a trip to the ski resort?

Yeah, I know, I haven't updated in a while. I have better things to do. For instance, fighting for my life. The Silencer decided to "throw me a surprise birthday party" minutes after I turned 18. He really needs to work on his people skills. Since when does trying to kill the birthday boy count as giving him a birthday present? Seriously, someone give him a decent hobby.

In the mean time, the Silencer's protective custody, until I find a better place for him. Don't bother looking in my apartment, you won't find him there. It's amazing though, once you realize how high of a price he has on his head....

It's sort of weird how you can't imagine the pain involved with surgery until you actually go through with it yourself. And really, laughing gas isn't all that it's cracked up to be, I could still feel the  Novocain needles, and hear the drill. A word of advice, don't listen to Project 86 while you're having teeth pulled. Especially the song "Little Green Men", its lyrics aren't the most calming. 

I would have updated sooner, but my daily life usually doesn't merit blabbing about on this journal. If it does, it's mostly information I can't share with the public. 

Anyway, there's a great coffee shop on the corner of of 3rd Street and 5 Ave. It's very open and airy, with friendly and prompt service. The best part about Marley's Coffee is definitely their hot chocolate. Their cofee's pretty good, but I'm not much of a cofee person. What are you waiting for? Go to Marley's!

And...special thanks to a special blonde geomancer friend of mine, for making the pepermint hot chocolate taste all the more sweeter.
