Passed the Foreign Service Test.

In other news: passed the 60,000 word count on"Reve."

I'm posting it because with 58,000 words aalready in the bag and slowly approaching my target goal oof 80,000 words, I should have a finished first draft of Reve by the end of the month.

Anyone interested in reading it? I haven't been working on this as long as I did on Trompe L'oeil, but early feedback would be appreciated.

Tried to take my laptop in to be fixed. But today is the start of holy week, so the tech isn't in the city. This cost me a 200PHP round trip van ride.

But on the other hand, I will go to SM city today and buy a new cell phone. My old cell hasn't worked right since I got it wet a month ago. number will be the same, SIN wasn't damaged.

So I'm gonna teach the Lord of the Rings books to my students starting next term.

Do any of you have old used copies that you're not using and would like to donate to the cause? I'm mostly looking for copies of "Fellowship of the Ring" but will take any and all of the four LOTR books.

One thing we lack in this country is enough books to go around. I'm not asking you to go out and buy me new books. But I know some of you have got a few used copies sitting around you're not reading.

My totally selfish goal for the next two years: make it to as many islands as possible.

I'm gonna put the small goal at 1% of the total islands in the Philippines. Out of 7,107 islands, that means I'm gonna set foot on 71 of them.

So far I'm at 20, almost halfway.

After I finish 1% gonna try for 2%. 140 different islands in 2 years. Doable? I think so.

Worth a try anyway.

I have also been to every single town east of the major city of Iloilo. I'm a travellin' 'Kano.

I'd write more about my goin's on, but I want to get off the Internet before I ppass the 2 hour mark. Also, it's almost 1pm and I haven't eaten yet.
