Shadow the Scientists

Shadow the Scientists (StS) is a one-of-a-kind program that offers immersive, real-time virtual learning experiences each month for students of all ages. By providing rare, behind-the-scenes access to STEAM professionals as they conduct research and related work, StS aims to spark interest in STEAM careers and help participants build the foundational skills and confidence needed to thrive in those fields.

Python & Research Tutorial

PyaR is a free online Python programming tutorial for a wide range of students (middle school through graduate school and beyond). It is offered as live online sessions a few times a year and mentored by Raja GuhaThakurta’s research team.

Science Internship Program

The Science Internship Program (SIP) offers high school students the opportunity to spend their summer working on authentic open-ended research projects in science, engineering, social sciences, humanities, and the arts under the mentorship of UCSC professors, postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, and undergraduate students.
