Since founding Crescent Memorial in 1999 in Tupelo, Mississippi, Terry Jackson has been dedicated to meeting the funeral industry's need for high-quality, affordable products. "We saw an opportunity to deliver exceptional value by custom-manufacturing many of our products right here in Mississippi.” Crescent Memorial crafts a wide range of items, including cultured marble urns, Life Print Memorial Keepsakes, Art Glass with Cremains, an extensive selection of wood urns and flag cases, the Collegiate Urn Series, cremation trays, and infant caskets. This in-house manufacturing ensures superior quality at competitive prices. With over 200,000 square feet of manufacturing and storage space in Tupelo, Crescent Memorial continues to grow as a family and employee-owned business, offering unmatched value in memorial products.           

 

 

 

Kathy Jackson
Owner and CFO

 

Kathy Jackson, the Chief Financial Officer, wife of Terry Jackson, handles all financial planning, reporting and record keeping for the company. She has been with the company since 1999.

Dwight Miller
President

 

Dwight joined Crescent Memorial in August 2024 as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, Dwight was SVP Operations at Camping World Design & Supply, VP of Client Operations for KMM Consulting Group and Vice President of Operations for Dometic. Prior to his business career, Dwight was a Field Artillery Officer with the Army National Guard for 10 years. He has a MSME Mechanical Engineering degree from Mississippi State University and a BSE, Mechanical Engineering from Arkansas State University.

Daniel Jackson

Daniel started with the company in 2007 and has held various positions during that time. Daniel currently manages all of the manufacturing departments in the Company.

TJ Jackson

Manager, Systems Integration

 

TJ started with the company in 2013 and has held various positions during that time, primarily in the sales department. TJ currently is responsible for systems integration for the Company.

Brandon Smith

Manager, Finance

 

Brandon started with the company in 2013 and has held various positions during that time, primarily in the Finance Department. Brandon currently manages the Finance department.

Bob Griggs
Senior Partner
VP Supply Chain

 

Bob Griggs has been with Crescent Memorial since 2013 and is a Senior Partner and now the Vice President of our Supply Chain. Previously, he was the Warehouse Manager at Crescent Memorial and prior to that, the Operations Manager at Mitchell Distributing for 17 years. He attended Delta State University where he also pursued his passion playing baseball.

Michael Gavelek

Previous to becoming Chief Operating Officer at Crescent Memorial in 2011, Mike was Chief Marketing Officer at various companies including Budget Car and Truck Rental®, PODS® Moving and Storage, Educational Resources® and Sunburst®. In addition, he spent seven years in marketing with the Coca-Cola® Company. He has an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and a BA from Northwestern University. As of 2024, he was no longer Chief Operating Officer and is a Senior Partner with the Company.

Eddie Ellis

Eddie Ellis has been with Crescent Memorial since 2007 and is the Manager of the Jewelry Department. Over the years, he has helped with the development of our Life Print Memorial Keepsakes and Jewelry Department, leading the development of new designs and system upgrades. Eddie and his team strive to produce quality keepsakes at a low cost to try to help ensure that families hold the memory of their loved ones forever.

Brittany started in 2009 with Crescent Memorial and she currently is a Partner and the Manager of Human Resources. Previously Brittany worked in accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Tommy Peeples

Manager, Woodshop

Tommy Peeples has been with Crescent Memorial since March of 2010. He oversees the production of many different wood urns, flag cases, light bases and many other products. By planning, coordinating and controlling the manufacturing process, Crescent Memorial is able to consistently have high quality products at a lower cost.

Manager, Engraving and Design

Carole Turner has been with the Company since May of 2014 and she leads the team that works every day to provide the engravings on urns as well as to produce branded products for Funeral Homes. Working in the Department of Engraving and Design are creative experts that have completed a rigorous training program and have a true appreciation for quality workmanship. They make and customize every product with the understanding that it will memorialize the life of someone much loved.

Eric Chmielowiec

Eric brings over a decade of experience in the deathcare industry, with a strong focus on strengthening Crescent Memorial’s valued partnerships while cultivating new relationships with organizations that prioritize fair pricing, exceptional service, and high-quality products for the families they serve. Originally from the Chicago area, Eric has embraced his move south with enthusiasm—quickly trading deep-dish pizza for Southern hospitality—and is fully committed to becoming an integral part of the community and partners he supports.

Aleesya Tutor
Manager, Cremains Receiving

Aleesya Tutor manages the team that handles all cremains receiving and shipping. Her team also creates our beautiful line of Art Glass Pendants and Touch Stones. Aleesya has been with the Company since February of 2016

Devin Forman
Co-Manager, Art Glass

Devin Forman is an Art Glass manager who creates memorial pieces that incorporate cremated remains. He has been with the company since February 2018, gaining experience and refining his skills over the years. His work focuses on carefully crafting meaningful pieces that help families honor and remember their loved ones. Devin approaches each piece with attention to detail and respect for the materials and the people they represent. He takes pride in doing consistent, reliable work and contributing to a process that provides comfort and lasting memories for others.

Jeb Todd
Co-Manager, Art Glass

Jeb Todd has been with Crescent Memorial since June of 2017. As a manager of the Art Glass Department, he combines hands-on craftsmanship with leadership experience to create unique glass pieces while supporting daily operations, team coordination, and maintaining high artistic and production standards. The Art Glass Department is passionate and committed to fostering both creativity and quality in every project and product we handle.
