Through public/private partnerships, the Central Valley Mother Lode Regional Consortium (CVML) focuses on growing the regional economy by facilitating the development and growth of college training and educational programs to meet the needs of identified high growth sectors.
The Central Valley Mother Lode Regional Consortium (CVML) brings together K–12 Strong Workforce, Adult Education Consortia, K–16 Collaboratives, higher education partners, the Central Valley Higher Education Consortium (CVHEC), and more, to create aligned, equitable pathways from education to employment. By coordinating across systems, CVML ensures students and adult learners can move smoothly from high school and adult education into community college programs, transfer opportunities, work-based learning, and high-demand careers.
Through shared labor market data, regional planning, and employer engagement, these partners reduce duplication, strengthen career pathways, and expand access to training aligned with regional workforce needs. This integrated approach supports early career exploration, re-engagement of adult learners, paid work-based learning, and clear transitions across K–12, postsecondary, and workforce systems, advancing economic mobility and workforce readiness throughout the Central Valley and Mother Lode region.
The Central Valley Mother Lode Regional Consortium is the premier regional collaborative that supports education and training to develop a skilled workforce in the Central/Mother Lode Region.
The CVML facilitates and supports regional initiatives for its member colleges and key stakeholders. Through professional development, curriculum development, and collaborative communication and implementation, we collectively provide education and training to create a highly skilled workforce. The Consortium enhances workforce development in priority industry sectors by facilitating discussions and providing leadership.
