Wow! Just wow! "Donut Run" was amazing. Way to came back with a punch! Loved the twists and turns. Rob Thomas did an amazing job directng. Currently enjoying Project Runway. Kara needs to go! She's not even clear on her own designs.
I just realized how long it's been since I updated/visited LJ! My life is incredibly insane lately. I'm taking my classes, nursing a twisted ankle, and dealing with numerous family problems. In the midst of all this I have to decide whether or not I'm renewing my lease by next Wed. I hate living in the same building as ten fraternity brothers with surrounding buildings packed with literally hundreds more. Don't get me wrong! Being surrounded by hot guys is fun, but studying for two midterms with fifty 200 lbs men jumping/dancing in the room right above mine with blaring music = not fun!!! Not to mention the ten million tiny problems that go along with that. However I've been apartment shopping for two weeks with my roommate, and have yet to find anything we can agree on. If it's in a decent price range, the crime rate's sky high. If I fall in love with a place, the rent is some outrageous figure. My standards aren't that high. You can't blame me for wanting a working air conditioner in Florida, minimal stains of unknown origin, and rooms that smell slightly fresher than a toilet bowl in Hell. Okay, fine. I'm a picky snob. I'm only in school for one more year, before I get to run off wherever I want to put my art restoration degree to good use. I'm just so tired of apartment shopping!
Side note: If anyone knows, is it legal to require a tenant to renew their lease or reject renewal on a legally binding form that can't be withdrawn post signature 6 monthes before the original lease expires?
On the brighter side, I just got a haircut this weekend. I gave eleven inches of hair to Locks of Love and got a fab new look in exchange. I feel ten pounds lighter, emotionally as well as physically. Hopefully this is the beginning of a change in my luck. |
