I don't know how many of you know this, but my new obsession has been the Sims 3. I am a total newbie and found it's a lot more fun to run my sims life than live mine. So I started a Legacy Challenge and then everybody was like it's more fun if you actually write it out and share it with everybody.
Well I figured since I'm a writer...I could do this. But it's really kinda difficult for me actually, but I'm giving it a shot anyhow.
So this is a shameless promotion post.

Characters: May, Lex, Mega, Trudy, Gel and some other mentioned Mall Rats
Prompt #: 15-Wrecking
Rating: PG-13 (it's not bad, but just to be safe!)
Notes: I do not own anything but the plot. The lyrics are from Lifehouse’s song “Wrecking Ball”. This is Season 5 AU. It’s still Tribeworld but I’ve changed it to my version *cheesy*
Summary:In May’s experience, along with life, love has always been a messy, tiring thing, but nothing has come close to being the worst than this “thing” with Lex.

Somehow we do not have internet at home, so here I am sitting at Panera bread, sippin on a Frozen Mocha and nibbling on a Pecan roll, because the Library is closed on Mondays!

All throughout the year, for most, major holidays, you walk into the store and you're practically attacked by decorations. January it's New Years, In February it's Valentines Day, in March it's a mass of green for St. Patrick's day (which is not a major holiday) and Easter for end of March/Beginning of April...and so on and so forth...
But when it comes to November and one of my favorite holidays rolls around...I walk into the store and what am I bombarded by? Christmas decorations! How do we skip from Halloween to Christmas and forget a nice, wholesome, family gathering holiday like Thanksgiving? Why is Thanksgiving the forgotten Holiday when it comes to decorating?
It bothers me when I'm looking for decorations for our Thanksgiving dinner and all I can find is a few lousy harvest decorations, an orange table cloth, turkey salt and pepper shakers, and squash looking table settings.
Maybe there's just so little that can be done with Thanksgiving as far as decorations go...but it's still rather annoying to walk into a store a few days after Halloween searching for Thanksgiving decorations and all I can find is inflatable snow men, Christmas lights, Christmas trees, etc.
I love Thanksgiving!
