Coval SP-HV Industrial Sprayer

The pump will enable large square footage jobs to be quick and efficient with a minimal crew size. Production rates of 50,000 square feet in four hours per pump system are achievable.

How to use the SP-HV:

  • Use a compressor rated for 4-6 CFM at 100 psi. These are available for purchase or rental at large home improvement retail stores and rental centers.
  • Plug in the compressor outside of the building to minimize the noise inside the building.
  • Connect a 1/4” air hose to the pump air input line.
  • Ensure the pump regulator is set at 40 psi, the standard factory setting.
  • Place the suction line into a pail, drum, or storage container that contains the Coval product. We recommend using a rolling cart that will hold the pump and the product.
  • Turn on the red ball valve to start suctioning fluid into the pump and fill up the spray wand. This takes about a minute to occur.
  • Use a bucket to perform a test spray to purge the air out of the line and to insure everything is working properly. Begin spraying the floor working left to right between walls or joint lines. When using a cone tip spray with a slight circular motion to avoid lap lines and dry spots.
  • When finished spraying, place the suction line into a gallon of acetone and spray at least a half-gallon of acetone through the system. Disconnect the fluid hose and drain the excess acetone out of the hose.
  • Store the pump and hose in a clean dry space between uses.
